This 19th-century building, built in the classicist style, was the model for the character of János Vitéz, as depicted by Sándor Petőfi, inspired by a Ráckeve peasant boy who became a Hussar captain.

The property, consisting of three plots, covers an area of 2,974 m². The main building is in an 'L' shape and opens onto two streets, with multiple expansions and renovations over the years. This building is a protected historic monument and was once the residence of János Horváth Nepomuki. Built in the early 19th century in the classicist style, the long house’s gate entrance has been bricked up, but the former owner’s coat of arms can still be seen in the courtyard part of the building.

Historical research has confirmed that the building's western wing retains some of its baroque origins in the main walls. From what is currently known, it is believed that the symmetrical arrangement of the two outer rooms dates back to that period, as does the southern wall of the carriage entrance with the cellar entrance.

In the late 19th century, the interior layout was modified, creating an enfilade system with new partition walls. The building’s plastered main façade elements were developed in the mid-19th century, with parapet walls built and pillars adorned with plastered chapters. The vaulted cellar with basket arches dates from the building’s first baroque, 18th-century period.
